Clark Pond

  • Clark Pond was named after member Howard Clark. Howard was very active volunteering his time and energy with the fishing derbies and other activities at the club.
  • The pond covers approximately five acres and is stocked at various times during the year for fishing.
  • Canoes and boats with electric motors are permitted with electric motors only.  No gasoline mounted engines are allowed on the pond. All state and federal regulations must be observed. Life jackets must be worn from September 15 through May 15 per state law.
  • The Pond is usually open to fishing by members except when posted otherwise by a sign mounted on the fence.
  • Members may catch and release fish unharmed or take up to three fish per day unless otherwise posted.
  • The pond is sometimes closed prior to a scheduled fishing derby.
  • Barbed hooks are permitted unless posted at the pond.
  • Ice fishing is permitted except when the ice is unsafe and is posted accordingly.
  • Ice anglers do so at their own risk and are urged to assess the safety of the ice before walking on it.
  • No vehicles are permitted on the ice.
  • A valid Massachusetts fishing license is required to fish in Clark Pond.

All members and guests must read and obey all posted regulations.
