Concealed Carry Fundamentals

Carrying a concealed weapon (CCW) is a significant responsibility that requires more than just basic firearms knowledge. It demands an understanding of how to handle high-stakes scenarios, select appropriate equipment, and consider the profound impact it will have on your daily life. For many, the idea of carrying a firearm in public spaces can feel daunting. This class is designed to guide you through these challenges with confidence and clarity. Whether you’re new to CCW or seeking to refine your approach, this class equips you with the knowledge and skills you need to carry responsibly and effectively.

Key Learning Objectives

  • Evaluate different holster positions and methods to find what’s right for you: Discover the pros and cons of various carry methods and positions.
  • Understand basic principles of defensive shooting in a public space: Develop foundational skills for safe and effective defensive firearm use in high-pressure environments.
  • Consider how concealed carry will impact your lifestyle and daily routines: Plan for the practical adjustments required to integrate CCW into your everyday life.
  • Outline and mitigate legal risks associated with CCW: Gain a clear understanding of the legal considerations and responsibilities involved in carrying a concealed weapon.
