Celebration of Life for Dave Mello 9-10am

The Marshfield Rod and Gun Club will host a Celebration of Life for Dave Mello long time member and friend.  The service will be held on Sunday, August 17, from 9-10 AM on the Outdoor Range.  Refreshments will be served in the hall afterwards.  His ashes will be scattered on the outdoor range where he had so many fond memories. 

David Anthony Mello of Kingston, MA, was born on February 12, 1942, and passed away on September 19, 2024.  He had a successful career as a Systems Analyst at Gillette Company and later pursued his passion as a Federal Firearms Dealer.  David was an active member of the Marshfield Rod and Gun Club, serving in various roles such as Range Officer, Vice President, Caretaker, and Board of Directors member.  He was honored with the club's first Lifetime Achievement Award in 2024.  David was a dedicated Raiders and Red Sox fan and loved Diet Root Beer.  He was a loving father to Caryn, Pamela, and Darrick, and a devoted grandfather to four grandsons.
